Dr. Will received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Austin College in 1980 and his doctorate of medicine from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1984. He completed a general surgery internship at University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, and his residency in anesthesia and pain management at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, where he was chief resident for two years.
Board certified in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Will has been in private practice since 1989, where he has performed innovative treatments tailored to each patient. These treatments employ a combination of various injection therapies, such as epidural steroid injections (selective root blocks) and implantable spinal cord neurostimulation techniques.
He was awarded as a Best Doctor in Dallas by D Magazine from 2003-2011 and is a member of the Texas Medical Association, International Association for the Study of Pain, American Pain Society and International Headache Society. In addition, recent research by Dr. Will and Dr. Reed earned the prestigious Cephalalgia Award, presented by the editors of Cephalalgia, the medical journal of the International Headache Society.
